There are water high water issues all over around here and more to come. I hear they opened 5 of the 10 spill way gates at Table Rock Dam. And have not did that since 2011?

RC make sure you have your "May West Vest" on, if you cross the creek to get to the shop. lol

Evening All!

I had to bite the bullet today and make a withdraw from the "bank of crush cars". I scrapped two to catch up on some bills. I still want to wait for scrap to come up. It's up to $110 / ton right now, even higher in Ava.

I'm loaded up to head out to Bigfoot's headquarters tomorrow. I wanted to leave first thing, but found another broken belt on one of my trailer tires, so two more tires are getting replaced before we head out. We're gonna get wet, but Earthquake still has working windshield wipers.

Been out doing some craigslisting. I snagged a couple sheets of 3/4" plywood to lay down on the ground to make moving my tool box a little easier. All utilities, along with tv, and internet are taken care of, mail is taken care of, and we'll be on the road in one week!

Unk Bob

I've seen a couple of military trucks with boats on them parked in a few strategic locations near the rivers this morning. Can't ever recall them doing that before so they must be getting worried.

Part of my driveway is beginning to be a mud bog. 4Runner & Durango will be fine, but my Fords may have a little trouble.

I have friends on the swift water teams, they are already headed out. Overkill,, maybe. But they don't want to take any chances

I've been through a nasty flood out west. Anyone willing to risk their life to save the life of another from swift water is a hero in my book.

Afternoon all. I hope everyone is staying high and dry so far. We're doing fine here, but parts of my driveway are taking a beating. It looks like I'm going to need to find a friend nearby who had a tractor with a blade and get a few loads of rock brought in when this all blows over. I wish I could afford to get it professionally redone, but the last person who said he'd fix it just put an expensive band-aid on it.
