Well, I've got a lawyer... Not best buds or anything, just known each other since we were in kindergarten.

He'll speak for me a board of alderman hearing. I'm steady working on support documentation of this fiasco to show what a BS project this is.

Some feedback to me from outside that its good that "somebody" is finally pushing back on the city & rubber stamps leaves me for the first time a bit of hope of stopping this debacle.

No where a sure or an even odds thing but better.

That kind of crap is getting to be all too common everywhere, Hattiesburg is trying to Annex everything in sight. They want the tax revenue, but the folks that happen to be in the annexation area see no benefits from it. The parts of Lamar county that H'burg has already annexed have the worst roads, sanitation services, etc.....really gets under my skin. On top of that, some folks in the community I live in, they're in the upper tax brackets, have used and are trying to use the Hattiesburg annexation attempt to scare folks to vote to incorporate Bellevue, all that will do for us is more taxation, they'll have to start the community government from scratch, police force, fire dept. etc.....(we already have all of those through Lamar County) I asked what would they budget for all of this be, I was told we'll just have to see, but just sign here, it'll be great! Yeah right....Anyway, all that this is about is imminent domain, there are several old family farms along the 98 corridor that is being developed at a rapid pace that these greedy *******s are after.......

My prob is that this person next to me is a real estate "wanna' be" flipper.

Knowing some detail her character (everything you need to know about a person: how they treat animals & THEIR ELDERLY PARENTS)...

and seeing how she has slapped lipstick on this old pig of a tired existing house lets me know I want nothing to do with this abomination.

Got a meeting with city official today.

Thanks guys. I'm trying to let go of a lot of anger right now in case it all goes in the crapper.

Back in 12' I came close to tapping out although nobody told me so at the time.

Promised myself then I'd never let myself get hung up on pointless obsessing with BS. (justified or not)

I have to kick myself in the *** sometimes to remind myself what is important in life & what's not.

It broke up a bit as it came around Jackson so we didn't get all the bad that surrounding areas got.

All the wind of the past week has been dropping crap outa' the trees as fast as I can pick it up.

Got to say I'm glad April (March???) is done with & May starts tomorrow.
