You nailed it Bill! Even though it is "known" exactly what happened, it has to be proven without a reasonable doubt. And these days juries have an amazingly screwed up understanding of reasonable.

Well we finally got my brother off to Iowa this morning in his new/old '76 F250.
The truck runs really well. I have no doubt it will make it pulling a trailer.
Still haven't figured out why the fuel, oil and temp gauges aren't working. The po hacked the wiring and we just didn't have the time to figure it out with getting the truck otherwise road worthy.
He's just going to have to take it slow, especially through the desert.

I have to say it's one of the most down home nicest American places I've ever been. The Spirit Lake/Okobogi area.

Ryan made it across the desert with no problems until Mesquite. He dropped a cylinder on the way into town. Checked it out and it was a burned plug wire from laying on the exhaust manifold. A quick replace and on he went to St. George for the night.

I'm a big fan of the show, but missed the opportunity to see them in person - even Rhea Seehorn.

Cast members and creators of the hit AMC television show “Better Call Saul” greeted fans and signed autographs at the Camarillo Airport Sunday to lend their support for “FIFI,” a famed World War II bomber aircraft.
The vintage plane, which was featured on a “Better Call Saul” episode last season, was staged at the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Museum in Camarillo for the past week during a local stop on its national tour. Aviation and history enthusiasts were able to view and tour the inside of the 85,000-pound Boeing B-29 Superfortress for a fee. Ride prices range from $75 to $1,795 and reservations may be made at airpowertour.org.
FIFI was featured on the show’s eighth episode last season, and co-creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, along with some cast members of the show, were on hand Sunday to show their support for FIFI and the men and women who volunteer their time to maintain and preserve the vintage warplane....
Glad it was fixable!

Aaah to be young.
Ryan made it over the top in a late season blinding snow storm (towing a trailer and no heater). Started snowing in Vail and kept going to Idaho Springs.
Full time four wheel really helped. He crossed Loveland at 1a and ended up east of Denver to get some sleep. He's off early, 9 hours away from home.
