That great news on the block!!
Working at the new shop was great, very stress free since we are not working right under corporate noses. Commute is less so it looks like a win win right now. At lunch I told the boss I would stay if they needed me but at the same rate I get paid at the other shop.

Another Day being a road warrior. Left here drove to Villa Rica picked up 2 golf cart tops $10.00 each one for the cart and one for the tractor. Left there headed to Suwanee to pick 2 tires for the cart $40.00 for both. Just before I got to 285 GPS rerouted me to 75 I guess 285 slowed to a crawl. Sure enough it want me to go up 85 and take the detour. When I got to the splot I took 75.GPS had me get off on Northside and right back to the Bufford connector. Even with detour 5hat was suppose to be fastest. I came back 85 to 285 to 675 to 75. Glad I am not up there everyday

He said he would look into it but I need to see what the pay difference is first. Calhoun has a different pay scale than Atlanta.
OMG Dale JR is retiring! I guess I am going to need a new driver.

After last year I thought he would. Him getting married may have contributed. There was an interview with Jimmy Johnson about him driving Indy. He said he would not due to a deal with wife. As long as they had none kids it was OK but 9nce 5hey haft kids it was off the table till they put roofs on the cars are had better head protection.
So who is left in the 40 and over crowd?

A buddy at work has been a Jr fan since his career started. Told him last year that if he was cleared to race this year that he would retire at the end of 2017. He called me almost in tears yesterday. I was a Bill fan back in the 70's, so when I saw Chase was moving up, I became a fan. I think he will be better than his dad.

In the inverview he said Jr motorspor5s would not fielderly a cup team. Since jr is development for Hendricks I think it will be one of the drivers from there

Tomorrow is my last day at work this week, heading to the beach Friday morning!!! I can't wait to see how my son reacts to the water and the sand, etc.
I like it in Calhoun, plenty of work to stay busy and the attitude is so laid back. I think the lead mechanic likes my work, He gives me 2 or 3 jobs to do and I have them completed the next time he comes thru. He already loaded me up with 3 jobs for tomorrow.

I took the trash off, added chemicals to the pool, put the directions in the Garmin and touched up the hummer. I have to finish packing and then load and we will be off tomorrow morning. I plan on eating lunch in Panama city then eating dinner with one of my old battle buddies from Afghanistan.
