Looks like a great all around truck, bet you got a killer deal on it. I didn't know they still made the power lock and window deletes. Bet it will plow the hell out of some snow with those gears. I have a stock 6 cd radio out of my '08 sitting in my shed that is brand new that may fit in there, never used it took out out when I bought the truck. By the way you can get some chrome lighted emblems after market. I bet a set of chrome caps for the mirrors and door handles would dress up the sides of the truck, I bought some stainless steel ones on e bay for my last xlt and they lasted 8 yrs.

I paid 34,500 for the truck, which was a good deal at the time, but I've seen some crazy good deals on left over 16's lately on here. The 6.2 has only been out since 2011, it's got a couple more years still before the 7.0 gets here at least. I don't mind my manual windows and locks, I do wish I had the mirror lights and door pockets that come with the power equipment group. As far as snow, there's not a lot of that here, we're lucky if we get a couple 5-6" storms a year. Plowing the plant roads is part of my job in maintenance at work though(with a company truck). I can drive right up the mountain and be in 12"+ in about 20 minutes when it's 40* and raining here. And as far as the CD player, I haven't used the CD player in probably my last 4 vehicles. I do occasionally hook my phone up to it though and play my music list. Some body color door handles are on my future to do list.

The stainless door handles caps just stick on with the 3m tape, would probably be easier than swapping out the whole thing. As far as the locks and windows, less crap to break. I still miss my 1979 xlt 4x4 work truck I had back in the 80's, plain and simple but tough and dependable. I lived in the hills in va at the time. I didn't catch the mirror lights, they would help the profile at night. I put some marker lights on the side of mine and it looks a lot better.

Well, here's a honest review for some of y'all that are anti gearing. With my current tires, this is a 60mph and under truck. We stayed at the campground last night, and I had to work today. It's normally a 40-45 minute trip mostly on a 55mph hwy. I set my alarm for 4:40 am, next thing I know, it's 5:13am. I made the trip in just under 30 minutes. At 75, I was turning @2500 rpm, and the fuel gauge plummeted. I'm down to 11.3 mpg. Really no surprise there, but just a gear update. Should have driven the wife's escape!

Driving the speed I was, before I would typically average around 14.
I set the cruise on 55 on the way back. The dash had climbed back to 11.9 by the time I got to the campground. I know there is nothing accurate about this short term stuff. But y'all get the idea.
Btw, there wasn't a single down shift or even a strain on any of the hills.

I sure hope, I've been checking the fed ex tracking number that discount tire gave me all morning, still says out for delivery. It's been a monsoon all day, so deliveries may be behind. I'm going to call them right now just to be sure, I get off at 2 and had planned to stop on the way home.
