I parted out a '51 F5 US Army truck years ago and I still have this door, for some reason. I noticed that the escutcheons under the door handle and window crank are rubber. Are these normal? I had a '51 F2 years ago, they were plated steel like my '49. I had never seen the rubber ones before.

Both of my 52's have rubber

Both of the 48's and the '50 are all metal

 

Must be a 51/52 thing. I had a 48 and a 49 and both had metal escutcheons.

The rubber ones are correct for the 51,52 Merc, they are not reproduced, I found 3 NOS in a search using the part #.
