Been trying to do things a little different with this build and took some chances while doing the exhaust ") Just got the tips and tail pipes back from powder coater and finally found time to get everything installed . Couldn't be happier with results ! Sounds like no V6 I've heard and almost sounds like a coyote at times 😲

 

Kept tow bar functional by recessing tips, welding tow hook brackets to back side of tow bar, etc

 

Looks cool. That turbo whistle is niiiice. What all is done to your truck performance wise?

 

Sounds excellent. No raspieness or crackling.

Is there a drone at highway speeds? What muffler and pipe diameter? Did you do a new downpipe or is this cat back?

I'm running Stainless Works offroad down pipes, resonator delete, Turbo Smart BOV, stock muffler with MagnaFlow y-pipe ,etc

Other mods include stage 2 AEM cai, MPT tune, changed gears from 3.15 to 3.73, and Full Race Cac

 

I was in the fence about this when I saw the title. Then I saw you started the thread and since your other mods have turned out so well it swayed me to the can't be too bad side. And once again you have another mod that turned our great!
I couldn't imagine, when I saw the title, how this would even look good on a truck with the bumper, but it looks dang nice!

What does the exhaust sound like when pulling the boat?

 

That is nucking futs...amazing. Are you worried the hot exhaust will melt the plastic on the bumper?

Yea, I was wondering if there were any issues towing as well. Lots of hot exhaust hitting the trailer hitch and wiring.

 

Looks good, gotta be careful backing up to a trailer though, miss and you damage them tips! But thats why we have the rear cam i guess, again, looks good.
