Non OEM cupholders?

Non OEM cupholders?
Alrightie, when I bought my truck last year, it didn't have any cupholder in the dash. So I found an beat up one off a parts truck on Craigslist, the springs in the arms were wore out, so it cost me like $20.
Fast forward to yesterday, I'm going to work, and I take a right turn kinda sharp, my cup leans to the side and breaks the arm off...
i can look around and find another OEM cupholder, but why seem not to be super friendly with the large cups (I take one of those 30 oz SS tumblers to work).
Does anyone make a cupholder to replace the OEM one that's better? I don't really want one of those generic consoles to take up my middle seat. Can I order a lid for my fold down console that has cup holders?
Thanks everyone. I might put this in the generic SuperDuty area too, but I know y'all are always helpful.

You can upgrade to the much improved 2002 model of cupholders pretty easy. I did it here with step-by-step pics:

The "upgraded" 2002 versions will still throw your cups if they are very tall and you turn very fast, but in my truck, it seems to be more of an issue on the passenger side than the driver side. The springs in mine are tired, and I should probably replace the unit with a new one which has younger and more energetic springs.

One side of mine seems to have gone, it only has spring tension when you try and push it closed? Guess I will have to order a replacement unit too....

I agree, thankful I don't have the old style, don't get me wrong, but the newer style still leave a lot to be desired....

Too rich for my blood. I'll only get to own one of those if someone tosses one out the window and I happen to find it, haha.
