Trucks built week of April 9
#46
Ok just ordered....its been 14 yrs since the last...i assume the VIN has to come from the dealer? then there is a DORA and a VOC and the COTUS......can some one shed some light please........do they still build ...say SRW for a couple weeks the DRW for a week and is there a way to know what they are tooling for????
2. The DORA should be available from your dealer next business day, there can be a short delay (no more than a week, depending on what day of the week you order) depending on when orders are "taken up" or pulled by Ford from the dealers system. A lot of the people who have orders take an extra long time never got a DORA from their dealer in a timely fashion, the order just sat in limbo because the dealership didn't have allocation to order more units at the time so it's important to get the DORA quickly so you know your order isn't in limbo.
3. The VIN will come from the dealer, I'd be happy to start pestering them daily after a few weeks from order date until they get it to you. You'll need the VIN to get your window sticker.
4. Cotus wont update for a while, you will need the order number, dealer code, both can be found on the VOC and the DORA to enter on Cotus in place of the VIN that you don't have yet. If you get no results, enter the dealer code and a few digits lower order number to see results from other vehicles the dealership has ordered and get a sense of the timeline you can expect before you see your order in Cotus
5. You can use the chat feature that pops up on Ford's website while using the build and price tool. They will need order number and dealer code to give you updates, I have been checking it weekly. The truck will be 'in processing' for quite a while but after the first week passes you should be able to get an ETA.

It looks like I am out of this build week...
I just got this from the sales manager at my dealership, after I requested an ETA from him as my salesman was not responding. His response: "No ETA has been given at this point. I will certainly update you as soon as we get an ETA. The best that I can see at this point is a build date towards the end of this month."
Yesterday's chat had me still as "In Order Processing" status.
I have a VIN but still no access to Cotus, and no Widow Sticker.
Best of luck to you guys that are in next weeks build queue.

Ordered mine March 8th. Received the VIN 2 weeks later. Got the window sticker March 31st. The dealership told me it was scheduled to be built 4/2, just checked with ford chat and it is "in production" and ETA of 4/23. Still nothing in COTUS and no date in ETIS.
A buddy that ordered his truck from the same dealer in early January got his in 6 weeks, so I'm hoping to see the ETA to drop a week or so. Getting closer!

What type of cargo bar did you get AMX? I saw this from 2015-2017 F150 Ford OEM Bed Divider Kit FL3Z-9900092-A
I'm betting it's a fit for Super Duty as well.

This was brought up in a different thread. I believe the concensus was that the distance between box link plates (that this divider hooks to) was different between the F-150 and the Super Duty so this divider is for the F-150 only and Will Not fit the Super Duty.

Saw that as well, if I found one on Craigslist I'd certainly take a flyer. Based on some of the comments from F150 owners I've seen it's super tight, I could see attaching a simple shim to the outer edges if needed to add some width.
