93 F150 5 spd SWB 5.0l , Driving to town a bit ago my truck died when i shifted to second..Got it parked and checked the check engine light it says Code 14 and 29..So I let it sit about 5 mins i checked plugs and distributor and all vaccums and such then it cranked about 10 seconds and fired up and purred like normal..So what do i need to fix here? You are gonna need to check those codes again, as it should be a three digit code.

Well 14 is Two or more successive erratic Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) pulses occurred, resulting in a possible engine miss or stall.
And 29 is Insufficient input from vehicle speed sensor.

If it's the PIP, I would recommend just changing the whole Distributor.
Others will chime in.

Ok so update..Changed the distributor set timing at 10deg for now, Truck runs..well ok i guess it hesitates and has surges that when im accelerating i depress the pedal and the truck goes no where for about 2 sec than accelerates really fast and starts a feeling like im tapping the brake pedal until it reaches 2500 RPM. Currently runs codes 11 18 19 and 29. The spout is plugged in so im not understanding 18. Any suggestions? And yes Fuel pressure is good, 32 running with vaccum attached 41 with vaccum detached.
