1999 F350 Super Cab. Is there a conversion kit available to allow the front passenger seat to fold forward to a flat position? I travel a lot and just bought a 12V refrigerator (Massimo CX40 12V Portable E-Kooler). Because it has a compressor, it has to be mounted level. Thanks.

 

Hinges wouldn't permit folding the chair completely flat. Best bet is to remove the seat completely and make a plywood platform to keep it level without having to remove the brackets and move the wiring.

I figured that folding the seat forward to a flat position wasn't gonna work either coz it would raise the fridge too high to be practical (Blocks the passenger side view mirror completely) So I've built a wooden platform over the seat, pretty much like you suggested. Thanks for the input.
