u..or if there isn't anyone else waiting you can always drop the RV behind the scale and just weigh the truck axle by axle first... then hook up and reweigh the rear axle of the trick to get the pin weight ( with math) and then get the whole rig and after that just the RV.

Question, if doing axle by axle and using a WD hitch what does that do to the axle weights?
Should you remove the WD bars and weigh the cobo so you know just what is going on?

Good idea as a baseline, IMO.

If you're wanting pin weight, weigh out the pickup bobtail. Doing the axle method. Then hook it up to see how the weight weighs.

My pickup weights about 5,200 on the front axle and 3,700 on the back axle, when empty.

Thanks everybody... update went and weighed my truck and boat. Only hiccup was when I went back for the reweigh they asked why i was reweighing five minutes later....I thought the reweigh was so they could average the two weighings....oh well. LMAO

I've been meaning to get the weight of my car hauler trailer for some time now, and I'm thinking attempting to unhitch/hitch up the trailer on the scales will likely be frowned up.

If I weigh the truck empty, then with the trailer on the reweigh, would it be correct to subtract the empty rear axle weight from the loaded weight to get the pin weight, then add that pin weight to the trailer axle weight to get the trailer weight by itself?

if you subtract your empty truck weight from your total weight, you are left with your trailer weight

You can't see it, but I am quite literally face palming right now. I seem to like to over complicate things, lol.

Thanks, RV_Tech!
