Farewell & 2006 OEM Shop Manuals
Hey all,
I use to be a regular around here, the guy with the super high mileage vans. I've been on hiatus for the past year after my business was purchased. I appreciated sharing E-series info here greatly - good times, thanks to everyone. I don't think I'm going to get back into it and after selling everything off I realized I still have my 2006 OEM shop manual full set. I'll post them in the for sale forum but thought I'd mention them here first. I can toss in an owners manual too if wanted.
Thanks!

Well thanks for the love guys. Yes, I owned the business. Apparently I attracted the attention of a much larger nation wide operator who informed me that I would like to sell to them. I disagreed but it turns out they were right. I took some comfort in the fact that they paid a pretty hefty sum for 9 vans with a total of just under 7 million miles on them including three over 1 million. They replaced nearly the entire fleet shortly after taking over. Different philosophy on when to retire vehicles I guess.
The user name... I was in the transportation business. Planes, Trains Automobiles, and well Vans. Always liked John Candy.
I'd love it if I knew what my future holds. I've been learning to fly. We'll see if that goes somewhere.

Ha! The grapevine got back to me that one of my former drivers who was a used car salesman in his past purchased all of them for less than $1000 each. He cleaned them up nicely and made a good profit selling them to a foreign buyer that took them south to Mexico or beyond. So they are very likely still operating .
