Received my putco chrome 4 piece door sill plates which is an OEM Ford Accessory. Sure looks like the small door sill plates for the rear door are unfinished . Anyone have a picture of what the rears should look like for the crew cab?
Yes there is a film on the rears as they should just be plain and nothing written on them, however the fronts are wider and have the text. here is a pic I found online with the darker "platinum" colored ones installed.
Ummmm, you have to peel off the protective film......
Ummmm, I tried that. Look at one of the corners. It was not a simple pick the corner and peel up which is why I stopped. If they are not supposed to have the logo then I will attack the corners again but I don't get why the fronts came peeled and the rears came with a cover.

Attack the corners again. That's a protective film.
Install is tricky. I measured the setback from the bend and made a line on my truck so i knew how far the top edge needed to be placed to get the bend in the right spot. Started at the top placing the edge against my line and with a slight bend pressure to flex the side out away from the truck to get the bend to stick before it. Then stuck from the bend down to the bottom. They are not going anywhere they stick good.

That protective cover can be really hard to remove but it will come off. You could try heating it up a bit and see what happens.
