2017 Platinum F250 - What did you pay?
Hello all,
New member to the forum and I'm in the market for a new '17 F250 Platinum. I've built a couple variations online and the way I'd like it configured comes out to about $75k-$76k. I live in south Florida and inventory down here is low at the moment so I'm open to looking in other states if they don't want to deal down here.
I'm just trying to get a realistic expectation of how much I can get a dealer to move on the price. I was hoping I could get $8k-$9k off sticker. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

there is an admin fee attached to the x-plan that is paid to the dealer (covers their paperwork etc) i got that waived (could be since i paid cash-no trade)- once you establish x-plan price and subtract any rebates you will arrive at your cost unless the dealer is willing to further 'deal'

My $73,500 Lariat Premium everything was dropped to $66k, out the door for $68k.
Try to locate a high volume dealer. There's also certain tools on the internet that'll let you look nation wide for exactly what you want. It'll also help you get an idea of what you can get the price down to.
That's how I located my baby 2 states away.

I have been using www.cars.com to locate what I want.
Then using the window sticker website to see the specifics on that vehicle.
Then, by looking at the mix of vehicles at the dealer you can determine if this was a mistake and they want it gone or if it fits with the "demographic" of their other vehicles.
A green window sticker means special order and by looking at the date on the bottom you can discern how long it's been on the dealers floor. A green sticker, fall build date and unusual options means you should be able to get invoice cost less $1k or so without too much trouble, perhaps more.
A blue sticker, new date, hot color means you have to pay up.
Look Up Window Sticker
Otherwise using Edmunds or True Car gets you close for a wide range of vehicles.
