Has anyone seen the new H2?

I had a chance to look at one up close and all i can say is "boy did GM ruin the hummer" I'm not impressed.
Looks like a Grand Cherokee to me. Sooner or later, they'll come with travel bag racks, welded in car seats for kids, yadda yadda. The chevy Avalanche and the Hummer are the ugliest trucks I have EVER seen.
Then again, I am biast, I HATE minivans, and will never own one!
From what I read it may be uglier than the first hummer (Never even liked the first one myself) but it goes off-road a lot better than the first one. Something to that extent
their aint much out there other than a tank that can off road better then the orig hummer. shoulda left the orig alone. its like the 'new' tbird that fmc built, they built it to look like the originals. me, if i were going to pay 40+ k for a tbird i would buy an orig.

I heard they are gonna make an H3 somewhere down the road which is gonna be based off the small blazer package. that is gonna be awful. I don't like the new H2 i think its ugly as sin and shouldn't even be compared to the original.
Just what most people who purchase this thing will require; to go to the mall, via the interstate, and park in the parking garage. It looks 99% ego and 1% mechanically functional. Maybe the driver, and the passengers, should dress up like little soldiers and bring along their GI Joe dolls!
The only thing more ridiculous is probably the sticker price!
Didn't know they were out til I read this thread, then low and behold, there it is on a commercial tonight while watching the Discovery Channel. Had a blonde driving that has probably never even cleaned her own house, let alone go out 4-wheeling, driving through a town and over long bridge into a city. Only thing missing were the 2 perfect children in the back seat with a Disney DVD on. Commercial was geared towards women with the main theme being to intimidate men. Don't recall the exact wording flashed across the screen, but you get the gist of it. Guess that's how the Yuppies do it.
Myself, I'd rather tease and entice than to intimidate.
So thats what I saw last week. I had seen this thing that looked like a cherokee but wasn't sure what it was until now. I thought it was some toyota when I saw it. But now I know.
A HUMVEE driving through the jungles of Central America is a tool to get the job done. A DRIVER trying to park a humvee on Rodeo Drive is just a tool!!!
