I have a 2017 F350 Platinum and has an odd problem that happened last night and is still present today.
When I was parking last night, I got a BLISS out warning and when I got out my power running boards had not deployed, not a fun surprise. The running boards had turned from auto to off. I reset the to auto and the worked at start up this morning and the BLISS warning was also off. By the time I had arrived at my destination, the BLISS warning was back and the running boards had turned back to off.
I know I will probably have to take it in, but was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions.
As a follow-up. I have an appointment to take it in next Wednesday. The problem has expanded a bit to include windows no-op, one or both of the mirrors won't fold in/out, climate system stopping/recycling. All of these symptoms occur after a BLISS fault warning. Power cycling will clear the problems.
The problem was consistent until a 30 mile trip last night and has not reoccurred.
It seems to be loose or faulty connector somewhere and I am glad that I don't need to track it down. Who'd have thought that all those random systems were so interconnected.
Keep on the lookout and take it in anyway. I agree a ground issue, or even a big fat multi wire plug. Stay on the lookout for a electrical plus that doesn't look seated correctly.
