Yeah, just makes us a little smarter each time... I'll make a note if I come up with any thing, can't get in the weeds on the internet to easily. You're not alone out there with a 95' 4.9L with a Rough Idle.

When you get the chance, let me know what the wire colors were on your EVP connector.

When you had your vacuum gauge hooked up was it a steady 20psi ? Was there any fluctuation?

thanks..

The middle wire appears to be grey. The two on the sides appear to be black and the other appears to be black with a color stripe. They are very faded and have been taped from the loom to the plug.

vac gauge showed a steady 20 PSI

I also removed the EGR block today with no ill effects.

Ok Thanks. I'm guessing the other two are Brown with stripe, but no need to check.

When you get another 100 miles on your plugs, you could pull them, and compare them to the charts on the web, to see if the condition of your plugs shed any light on things.

When you did your compression test, did you do them one at a time, or did you take all the spark plugs out at one time, then test?
