dashpot for holley 2100 R-713-AS or Holley 94

Hi there,

I have a Holley 2100 R713-AS running on my '56 F100. Since the dashpot is missing, I'd like to find a new one and install it. I'd need the bracket and the dashpot itself. It looks as on the pic below. Does anyone know where to get such a part and if there's a dealer, who has them for sale?

I think there is some confusion on the carb on your truck. A 272 Y-block would have a version of the 3-bolt Holley 94, called the 2110. The auction Pete listed is for the later Autolite 2100 which is a 4-bolt carb.

Are you running an automatic trans? As far as I know, only automatic-equipped engines used the dashpot.

@Pete: thanks for the link, but that doesn't fit. Those are the same as on my Mustang's Autolite 2100 (4 bolt).

@Ross: my truck has an 239 engine and automatic transmission, so the
dashpot would be the right thing to install. I'm still looking for a stock or
rebuild 272 which would be the right engine for the '56. If someone can
recommend a dealer or knows someone who's selling one - just give
me a call. The dashpot on the 2100 is the same one as on the 2110.
No one any idea, where to get one? For my Mustang I bought a new
one from Hygrade. But couldn't find one there. If I don't get one, I'll
build a bracket by my own, buy a dashpot as from Pete's link and
modify it for fit

1956 F100/350 272 w/Ford-O-Matic: C1AZ-9B549-A .. Dashpot (Motorcraft CD-6) & B1AZ-9B550-A Dashpot Mounting Bracket / Obsolete

Dashpot available at auto parts stores, also used on some 2100 series Auto-Lite 2V's (1965/66 Mustang 289 for example).

Hi boys,

thanks for the links! Mike has a lot of stuff for this type of carb but no
dashpot. I'll keep watching for it but for now, I'll build my own dashpot,
using the 2100 Autolite dashpot and a self-made bracket. That should do.

Thanks for the offer, but I built my own dashpot, using one from the Autolite 2100 and cutting, bending a flat piece of metal. In the meantime I replaced the whole engine, including the carb, so I no longer needed it.
