I have a 94 7.3l idi factory turbo. 170k. 4" exhaust. I'm told it was flanged and the 4" was made from the original so maybe it goes from original to 4"? Not sure. I recently think I blew the head gaskets so I'm going to pull the engine fix the head gaskets and my oil pan leak but I want to do some upgrade while I'm at it. Nothing crazy mild build mild budget. I know nothing about turbos other than what they do. As far as i know orginal injectors and ip. I was thinking head studs upgraded injectors and pump. Any suggestions

 

Definitely get a turbo. ATS, Banks, or Hypermax are available used online a lot. You can also get nice upgrade kits from R&D Performance that will make more power than what was previously mentioned. It all depends what you want. R&D also has upgraded injectors and IPs.
