It's been having this issue for a while, but it is getting unbearable. If you stand on it, it shifts through all gears fine. If you run 75 if acts fine.
If you run a constant speed between say 40 and 60 it feels like it drops from drive to neutral, back to drive, back to neutral, back to drive, over and over. If you don't lift off the gas pedal it bangs back into drive fairly violently.
It's been suggested to check and replace vacuum lines, which I'll be starting on tomorrow time permitting. The TPS has also been suggested as a culprit.
I figure that others have had to have had this issue on here, so maybe someone can help. In the meantime I'll be searching for the answer on here in old posts. Thanks in advance for any help or input.

The TRS and neutral safety switch are one and the same part. You can't replace just one.
The TRS is your problem. As it starts to wear out the internal resistance grows. The PCM can misinterpret this as you moving the shift handle to N. Since it thinks that is what you did, it obliges by shifting the trans to N.
Replace the TRS and you should be fine.

Yes sir, already did that. Fluid and filter change needed done anyway so I took care of that as a starting point.
