I found that a little propane into the carb can help get a cranky
engine to start. Not much for using ether do to it washing the oil
off the cyl walls. Also with propane you can run it that way for a while.
The only thing to watch for is gas buildup. Propane is a heavy gas
and will collect in low places and then go Boom on you with a spark.
So if you do please use care.

Well that was fun. Last time I used my generator I ran it dry and drained the fuel bowl and put it away. Only had about a gallon of fuel, so I went up and filled my 5 gal can filled generator and got it to start. Then die, 27 times. I think my can got a little water in it. After an hour it stayed running the next 4 hours while I babysat it. Luckily I got power back before dark so all is well. Just have a few tanks to clean now. Beer is good after that.

Ahhhh...just got back into town a bit ago from picking up a couple quads my pops gave me. Wife got me a bottle of BirdDog small batch bourbon and had to try it. Decent stuff. I think she is trying to make me a drunk with all this liquor she keeps buying me.

Hey Preston, how many of them Busch 40's you get down before you went to Mimosalob's?!?

Having to skip the over 21 stuff for a while. The back is in one of it's moods. So I am
having to deal with that. Nothing like muscle relaxants and pain meds. At least I am
getting some relief right now. Now all I need is a nice massage to finish me off.

Nothing like a nice "massage" parlour to "finish you off"

I've been enjoying some vodka limeade drinks tonight. I'm well buzzed and the aches and pains from work have faded away for now.

I've been keeping the drinking exclusive to the weekends lately. The main reason is weight loss. I drank pretty heavy last year and now i have a nice beer belly to speak for it. 7lbs lost so far, another 30-40 to go before I'm where i want to be.

Ethanol is killing equipment just by being used in it, saws, weed eaters, generators.. even after draining the tank dry
Find yourself a station that sells non-E fuel and use only that, if you have one close. I make a run about every 6 months to stock up and haven't had issues since.

Glad you said it...

Good luck with the continued weight loss. Soda is another big one people don't realize will cause major weight gain.

Randy, I try to top off at least once a day! Can't let too much blood into my ethanol stream!!

Don't forget fast food. It's all carbohydrates and fat. I was surprised how
fast I dropped some weight one time I cut the fast food out.

We need a food thread

This ain't gonna do anything for weight loss.

Waiting for paint to dry at the salon ........

'tater skins, 2 of 6 gone.

Leslie's Jersey Burger, she ate 1/3rd.

Me, I just got a cheese burger. It's all gone. HEY, I'M PAINTING! I'll lose the weight another day.

They have a great menu, and everything is mass quantities. Sometimes all the women at my wife's salon orders from Frankie's splitting the lunch, and they still can't finish.

I've got more to do tomorrow at the salon and Monday night is one of two prime rib nights, so we may be there again.

I should have shown the other view for people not familiar with Jersey Burgers.

No cholesterol there with two slices of pork roll. That's Leslie's yearly limit. I can do Frankie's twice a year and that's my limit. I ain't 20 no more. Hell, I'm not even 50 any more either.

Looks good Jack. Eating like that is why tilt wheel was invented.
It makes me think of a nice plate of rueban @ Kelly's in Neptune. Nothing better than good Jersey food, other than the beer that goes with it.
