Need old glass from a 53' to 55'

I have two old, rusted doors with a fantastic patina from a 1953 F-500 that I'm using as décor for my industrial themed rec room (read: Man Cave) in the new barn I built. I'm airbrushing a neat design onto the doors and then lighting the back side of them so they glow when they're hung on the wall. But neither door has glass other than the vent window. Anyone have old, foggy glass they would be willing to let go? If I could get glass for both doors great. If not one is fine.

Plexiglass is relatively cheap and lightweight and easily "weathered"...might be a more feasible option unless there is someone local that has OEM glass. I have windows that are old and foggy but I am sure that you wouldn't want to pay the tariff on getting them across the country.

Before you correct someone perhaps you should read ALL the uses of a word. The word is often used to describe the cost of a service, mostly when that cost is something that must be paid if you want the service...implication, there is no bartering on the price.

Okay Charlie, it was not my intention to correct you. I thought you might have been trying to insert some humor by using tariff, with recent news from your home State. My apologies.

Whoa. What happened to this thread?! lol

I might be willing to pay the tariff on that glass if you're willing to let it go!

BigWin I love the '56 door. Must have come off of a COE judging by the cut in the bottom. That old boom box down below is pretty cool too. Old skool!

Last year the group of guys who all sold at the super nats near us signed the back of the door. It's dated and says supernats. I forgot to take a pic of the back before it was put up

Ted, being from Iowa and knowing it is in the center of the country, when did it get porpoises? I might believe it does not have any, for all intents and purposes.

Bzzzt! So sorry! But thanks for playing. It's actually Kansas, a pretty fur piece from Ioway.

"The geographic center of the contiguous United States is the center of 48 U.S. states. It has been regarded as such by the U.S. National Geodetic Survey, since the 1912 additions of New Mexico and Arizona to the United States."
