Is the new f250 to high for my 5th wheel?
I love the new design and the look of the stance but is it to high for towing a 5th wheel camper? When hooked up the camper is nose high, with enough clearance to keep the camper off the side rails. I'm thinking the camper needs to be raised. Has anyone put a lift kit on thier camper or is there simpler way around this. The camper is a 30' 5th wheel and weighs about 9000 lbs the axles are dexter torflex. Etrailer.com has a lift kit that's for this type of axle. If you have lifted your camper to work with the 17 f250 how much did you lift it. Thanks for your help.

Let me know what you find out. I have an F350 and have the same problem. have already swapped the rear 350 blocks for 250 blocks. Still to high.

The bed sides are taller than the 2015 that I have, they are 1.5" taller from bed floor to the bed rail. Measuring from the ground to the bed rail at the center of the rear wheel is 3/4" taller then my 2015. The comparison was a 2017 Platinum to 2015 Platinum. So it looks like the bed floor is lower but the bed sides are taller.
