Jim, I don't think Ms Feinstein has any clout in the world of football. Football is apolitical... At least it used to be, before Kaeperdick decided to bring politics into our living rooms... Hmmm, now that I think about it, maybe Feinstein might have some pull. Or maybe you could call Kaeperdick. He might have some political pull. Ya never know eh?

Raiders will THRIVE in Vegas. I for one can't wait to go to some games there and I'm a Steelers fan.
Oakland screwed the pooch for ten years on a new stadium. Was Mark Davis supposed to just continue to have his team play in that absolute dumpster fire of a stadium forever? He's not like the other owners who made jillions of dollars in business then bought teams. His old man, Crazy Al, acquired a majority interest through decades of being the General Manager of the team and shrewd business decisions. Mark had no way to pay for the stadium privately, so how can anyone blame him for taking the $750M+ that Vegas offered?
A's are next if Oakland continues with the failed progressive agenda.

We shall see. They couldn't survive in LA, which is a much, much larger market, and came running back with their tails between their legs. I think making a go of in in Vegas will be much harder. heck, they can't even sell out UNLV games. I think it is a stretch, and I will wait to see what happens.

I have been to Vegas twice, once to pick up a motorcycle and take it to Oroville, and another to deliver a motorcycle from Oroville. Both times I used the S10 of the person who bought my XJ-S. He runs/owns a boat building company up there. Anyway, both times I went there it was way too hot to be comfortable for me. So I will not be going there to see them play. Besides, with them being farther away than 200 miles, we should get to see more of their games on TV.

Raiders can go, never liked Oakland stadium , candlestick was bad but not as bad as Oakland , I've been to a lot of Stadiums in my time , by far Oakland was the dirtiest , and I've had more issues in the Raider home with Drunk stupid people , I think that's the reason they cut beer sales off before the half, didn't stop the tailgaters though ,lol , still a 9ner and AZ Cards fan .
