117k on mine so far. A few minor repairs but otherwise been a great truck.

About to roll 111k. Only had a drive shaft sensor fail. Of course I perform maintenance items unlike most people with these trucks.

I would tend to agree with the common theme of do you NEED a diesel? It is at least an extra 3-5 grand in purchase price not to mention $100 oil changes and more expensive parts/repairs.

With that said, I have an 08 f350 6.4 that I love. I got the truck with 113,000 miles. I have her up to 145,000 as of last week. I deleted the EGR/DPF in the first 4 months I had the truck. Since then my fuel economy has gone from around 14 mpg combined to 18. If I'm empty and nice on the throttle on the hwy, I can get 20-22 mpg out of it.

As for reliability, I have had to replace brakes, U joints, batteries, and an alternator. (All of which are wear items in my opinion) I would try very hard to find service records on the truck you buy, I am a firm believer that regular service is the #1 way to keep these trucks running. I have mine on a 5000 mile service interval. With all that said, I love the way my 6.4 drives/tows, plenty of power even on a stock tune, very comfortable cab, and in my opinion, the best looking truck since the OBS.

Hopefully this helps, or maybe I am just rambling and cluttering the forum, either way it's my 2 cents. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!
