Love the old Broncos! Your pic after the older/wiser restore is exactly what I'd like to have.

Ya same here I've always had a spot in my heart for all the bottles we had one growing up a 67 half cab that my dad would take us all out to our camp and I thought that thing was indestructible
I'm getting ready to take out my 71 again and redo it for a third time been sitting for quite a while I'm thinking of putting a 5.0 coyote in it and of going with a colour scheme of blue jeans and magnetic

Do you still have the mustang 428CJ, man what a car. I would love to one day have a car like that in my driveway for summer cruising. I would love to do a restore on a car like that for retirement project.

No I don't I bought it if I can remember about a month before that picture just like it was for $12,000 it had a 351 Cleveland with the #matching 428 in boxes. I will see if I can dig up some pics of the resto. I sold it in 2000 for $45,000
I also built another 68 to look like Eleanor with a 347 stroker making 475hp car was sweet sold that for my 1st toy hauler so my boys could go motocross racing

Great story. I bought a 1970 Bronco eight years ago with 40K original miles. It now has 55K miles and it still is all original, nothing has been rebuilt and runs like a champ, three on the tree and all, except has cut fenders. love the vintage stangs as well. you have good taste.

Mom,dad and the kids heading out to camp that's me on the back of the bronco next to my mom

Down at my dad's plumbing & heating shop in the early 70's that's our 1st oil delivery truck in the background on top of the hill

Those were good times heading to camp with the whole family
