I have a 93 bronco XLT with the 302 Windsor non MAF so I believe its speed density so I'm trying to rebuild it with the summit racing rebuild kit and while its apart I want to cam it. ill pay almost anything I'm wondering which one will add the most power and torque but still have good vacuum for power brakes and work fine within parameters of the stock computer? also I don't know how to tell whether or not my truck is a roller or flat tappet so I don't know what kind of cam to even shop for. if so can anyone provide a part number for any type of cam they use and what else needs to be changed/upgraded when a cam is added to a stock engine? thanks guys

A 1993 Bronco is Speed Density. The 5L engine in the truck uses a roller cam. They started in ~1992. The early rollers were very conservative. The 1994 and later engine used a more aggressive roller camshaft.
The best bet is a 1994+ spec. roller truck/Explorer cam. The Comp Cam 35-349-8 is good equivalent. I suggest to pop for new valve springs, seals, timing chain and some roller rockers. No need to go from 1.6 to 1.7 ratio if you are staying with E7 or stock GT40s. Neither flow much more beyond .500" lift.
