2017 F150 DashCam & Window Tint

I had all my windows tinted except windshield...I even had the double sunroof windows tinted....I had cartoys install a HDR DashCam rear view mirror...the mirror is by Intraphex...with a built in front facing camera...HD recording...onto micro SD card..to early to determine if I like it ....I'll try to give a review after a few weeks....

Don't know how fussy the police are in your area but where I live most Highway Patrol vehicles carry a tint meter. If the front door windows are too dark it's a hefty fine. The general rule seems to be if, on an overcast day, the driver's face can't be seen clearly from outside the vehicle you're going to get paper.

Nice mirror. Dash cams come in handy more often than you would think. This is a nice way to have one that doesn't draw a thief's attention. If there was a Homelink option for that mirror, that would make it even better.

Tint laws vary sate to state. Those laws only apply to whichever state the vehicle is registered.
Many southern states allow for darker tint than many northern states.

Around here, You can get a tint shop to go darker than the 85% light transmission limit for the front two windows, but you have to sign a waiver stating that you know that you are willfully breaking the law. I have signed a waiver on the last three cars that I have owned, and I have never been pulled over. Of course I would imagine that if I ever were involved in a collision were my outward visibility came into question, I could find myself in serious trouble.
