My dealer did what they promised and ordered my F450 KR Ultimate on 12/9 and ordered an exact copy on 1/18 to ensure I had a truck in time for camping season (April) and try to get a Job #2 truck in time.

Well, my 12/9 order was due in 2/28, but arrived at my dealer today. According to Ford chat, the 2nd truck (with the same 2/15 date on the bottom of the window sticker) would come in the same day. Now, my dealer says that the 2nd truck is due 3/10 and the updated invoice for that one says Job #2!

Now I need to take a deep breath and wait 2 - 3 weeks for the Job #2 version, resisting the temptation to go grab the first one tomorrow! I know the trucks are very similar, but haven't really heard a complete list of Job #2 differences. Even if it's just the USB ports, updated cupholders, updated bed cleats, maybe others... I think it'd be best to hold off and get the job #2 truck. Anyone know of a reason to take the last of the Job #1 run vs the first of the Job #2 run (other than 2 - 3 weeks more of owning a nice new truck)?

 

Just go look at a 2017 f150 or raptor and that's what changes the f250 will have inside. They got the updates already before the f250s.

 

Curious... what changed with cup holders ?

 

Has there been any official word on a Job #2 order guide yet or is 1/5 still the most recent? Can't wait to hear/see what might be different between the Job #1 and Job #2's.

 

What is the official build date of your Job 2 truck?
Also, my ETIS and COTUS websites work perfectly.
The bad news is my dealer is not much help.
My build date is 2/16, and has a delayed ETA of 3/16.

 

2/22/2017. My first one was 2/15/2017 and was at my dealer in MD on 2/21. Maybe the 2nd one will be there next week!

 

Where on ETIS do you see information about a custom truck order?

 

It's also interesting that the date on the bottom of the window sticker on the Job #2 truck now says today's date (2/24/17).

I'm not sure what this date really means though. On my Job #1 order, the sticker just changed to 2/23/17, EITS still says 2/15/2017 for the build date and the truck arrived at my dealer on 2/21/2017.

 

That date will always change i looked at mine yesterday and it had changed also I've had my truck for almost a month now.
I think it's just the system updating

 

 

EITS will show a build date for several days before the detailed list show up - at least that's what happened to on my first order. The 2nd one still doesn't have ETIS details.

 

Well my job #2 F450 KR's ETA was moved up to this week. It was built on 2/22. I may end up with one of the first job #2 trucks.

Let me know if you want to check for particular differences when I get it.

 

The date at the very bottom of the window sticker in the white area updates every 8 days. It signifies nothing. Those of us who had trucks built the week of 2/6 were tracking these date changes. Folks who have had their trucks delivered are still seeing the date change every 8 days.

 

I'd wait on the Job 2 truck, you might as well get all the updates you can.

 

My job #2 truck is scheduled to arrive at my dealer on Friday. The Job #1 version beat the estimate by a few days, so I should have a nice new job #2 truck in a few days.

I'll probably have the dealer take it to linex to get a liner sprayed in.
