Rain?

So pouring rain, thought great time to wash it off!
running out there with exposed engine so i dont have water issues.
only didnt remember i didnt mount the anntenna...water drips in past rag (to keep dust out) and poof, water on wiring....shorts, not good.
dried it out and all good now.
those LED headlights look good with the blue paint, imho.

I foresee a huge problem with suitors who may or may not actually be interested in your daughter .

Progress is great. You don't have the same problem i have with 2 sons. That is they get occupied with a new girl paying attention to them and work stops on the trucks.

Nice.
I see you have the sides kind of on horses can you get to all sides that way for painting?
For us flare side guys I seen where someone put conduit pipe in the ends of the sides and hung them from the pipe.
I did not see how he did the front panel or gate but my gate (81 F100) I can use the pipe trick where the hinge fits in.
For my front panel the top roll has threads inside to bolt it to the upper side panels. I am going to use long bolts or all thread and put wire around the bolt to hang it from for painting.

Yup fuzzface, i can get to all sides, but this was first build prime coats, so wasnt too worried about getting full coverage. I like the pipe idea, but i think i will only do that on the front side where no one will be able to look into the pipe. The back i will use the same stand i did, a peice of rebar welded to a paint stand, stuck into the rear corner box. I will do the bolt thing also on the box front. The horse stands have tops that stick on the two pipes sticking up so i can paint the fenders, works great.

Btw, looking for a tailgate for this truck. I like the 50 script ford on a 49 7/8” wide tailgate (short box)
anyone have one or know of one in western canada, drop my a reply. Ill consider a block letter authentic 54, but like the pre 54 ford.

A little modification for the tailgate latches.

i like the look of chains, and so i painted them, and will put cover on. Also putting a 3M protection on back of box and edge of tailgate so the paint doesnt wear off.
