Wow! Was this dry pearl that you added to the clear?
Did you make the headliner?

The headliner was a kit, bought from f100 (before canadian exchange rate went stupid) , but it was custom covered with same cloth as seats. Same with door panels and kick panels.

Oh, and yes it is Kustom Kolor silver dry pearl. 1 tsp (thats a tea spoon) per pint of mixed clear. I liked the effect with just one 75% overlapped coat ( flowed out) and left it at that. If i was doing a metalic red sports car, i would do at lease double that, and possibly multi coats ( not sure what effect this would have ) then 3 coats clear on top.

great that you and your dad can work together and share the build. Even better that your daughter is in on it too. The 3 of you will remember it for the rest of your lives, and some great lessons passed on for everyone.

Oh, and is your daughter old enough to drive yet? You won't be able to keep her off the roads after this thing is finished

yes, the f100 was originally supposed to be a 2 year project so she could drive when she turned 16...I didn't like that idea, so i did this project for her...this pic is the second time I fixed the front end...
First time was to fix it from how I found the car, second time was after the first snow fall when she was 16...you fill in the blanks.
F100 took a 6 month break for me to hone my body/painting skills on this.
Now she gets to learn how not to crash on a cheap car!

Update on paint

Here is how the doors look on the truck.

Also the dash she made, (almost) by herself!

Doors need final alignment and seal install, but coming along.

Dash needs a final cleaning, signal lights and high beam, brake, ign lights installed and then its done.

Oh, notice the non stock headlight mounts in the grill? Those are for the harley mounts i bought. Better than the original mounts, and wont rust again.

Good progress

Looks good to date ! There should be enough work there to keep you busy through the winter. Is that a new wiring harness ?

The colour makes it pop nicely.

Little steps.

Looks like the air cleaner is level as well.

And she is doing a fine job... She'll have something to be proud of and that isn't going to be like everyone else's vehicle! Congrats to her for her persistence and determination!
