HELP! 68 F100 4X4 Suspension

I have a 68 F100 4x4 short box and the previous owner installed a lift. I believe it has lift coils but also has drop radius arm brackets. Are these necessary for the 4in lift he did? Also what parts for the front suspension interchange between a high boy and an f100 if at all possible. Thanks.

Sounds like a good quality lift for 4". Most just use longer coils and mess up the geometry.

As for high boy interchange, no unless you do major mods.

Does it just come down to the differences in how the frames were made?

Yes. That and all the suspension components connected to it.

That looks like a 6" lift also.

F100 4WD's vs. F250 4WD's: The entire front suspension is different!

1966/76 F100 4WD's have coil spring front suspension.

1967/77 F250 4WD's (High Boys) have leaf spring front suspension.
