I think that you have a 1948, judging by the attachment holes for chrome grille bars. I'll bet your truck was built in 1947.

hey trukdriver, Ive put my 47 on airride. I did a JAG IFS swap and ford 8.8 rear axle swap. The basics to consider with a stock truck would be: straight front axle clearance, driveline clearance, steering geometry, frame notch. Im not sure what your goal is, If you want to lay sheetmetal on the ground then you've got a fairly sizable project. Itll be fun though....
