I hope all is well and your projects are thriving. I myself am looking to put my 47', F1 on Airbag suspension and was seeking out anyone who might be able to shed a little light on this task. I appreciate your time. There she is.

 

Well, it's not a '47 but it looks like an F1.

 

I think that you have a 1948, judging by the attachment holes for chrome grille bars. I'll bet your truck was built in 1947.

I wish i knew what your serial number is. Prefix of 799C is 47 halfton. 88RC is 48 halfton.

 

hey trukdriver, Ive put my 47 on airride. I did a JAG IFS swap and ford 8.8 rear axle swap. The basics to consider with a stock truck would be: straight front axle clearance, driveline clearance, steering geometry, frame notch. Im not sure what your goal is, If you want to lay sheetmetal on the ground then you've got a fairly sizable project. Itll be fun though....
