Hello -

I need to replace my 2008 Ranger small cab styleside bed (rated 6 foot 37 Cu Ft) and I have found a 1998 Ranger small cab styleside bed (rated 6 foot 37 Cu Ft) that looks like a plug-in fit - I have not been able to verify this through Ford manuals - does anyone have experience with this ? Thank you.

The beds are the same 93-08, the 98 is a direct bolt on, but you will need to swap in your wiring harness, as I believe the 98 is a 3 bulb setup while your 08 is a 2 bulb. I've swapped numerous beds between 93-01 Ranger's over the years and the taillights & wiring is the only difference I've run into.
