How about another snow melt contest?

We just got another heavy, wet snowstorm on Wednesday night. A couple more like that and the truck will be fully buried. This year is shaping up to be a lot like 2015.
Send me a PM with your guess, although I've gotten a lot of people locked in....there are still a number of days or time of day that haven't been picked yet. No need to guess the hour, just AM or PM is fine cause I won't be sitting out there in a lawn chair watching it melt with a stopwatch. If it looks like it will be close, I'll have a retired neighbor check at noontime if I'm at work that day.
And I'll let anyone know if that time is spoken for and you can pick another date that hasn't been used yet.

This picture was taken May 1st, 2014.
Now if anyone wants to do some heavy research into the northeast US climate archive and draw some comparisons with this year to date and the extended season forecast...they might have an advantage if they haven't picked a contest date yet. Another tip....the location of this snowman gets less sun than where the truck is parked.

Right off the bat the first day three people here guessed identical day & times to other members. Instead of having two of them be completely out of luck, there were plenty of other slots unspoken for. Last time I did this there were numerous duplicate guesses but quite a few likely days nobody called. So this year I told them 'try again'. There's only one prize. Besides, the guesses have to be in before March 1st - long before the actual melting begins. I see over 100 possible chances.
It's all for fun so I'm giving you guys one extra chance to pick an open time. (like a football pool if the square is taken, pick another one next to it) So get them in early.
The way its filling up, there could be someone that picks the right date and time on a second try but someone else had it first if they wait too long. They would come in second or third. I'm checking PM's a few times a day.
Thanks for pointing that out. I'll clarify to give one extra guess if a time is spoken for.
I'm not a real contest administrator, I just play one on TV.

Update March 2, 2017
Well the deadline for getting your guesses in was yesterday.
Now it is a matter of waiting for Mother Nature to decide when spring comes.
We just had 10 days in a row of above normal temperatures so a lot of snow melted. (see picture taken today compared to post #18)
Now we are getting below-normal temps for the next several days and the month of March usually gets heavy snowfall around here.
So anything could happen. I'll keep you posted with periodic pictures as we get closer to spring and will drive the distance marker stick in the ground when it looks like things are starting to get close.
