Hi,
First time poster - have a problem with a Power Steering Leak. Have replaced the pressure hose 2X, but continues to leak around where the hose goes into or come out of the pump. The slip nut screws in and gets tight, yet the steel line coming out to the hose continues to swivel pretty freely. How do I fix this short of replacing the pump?

Do you have a o-ring style hose or a flare style hose?

I believe what I have is the flare style.

Your hose has a flare on one end, a o-ring on the other. Pull the leaking end out, I am thinking that is the o-ring end. Check the condition of the o-ring, make sure it's on there. If it's not, dig around in the pump and see if there is a old o-ring stuck up in there.
