With the EGT sensors and DPF pressure sensor unplugged or removed, the motor will go into immediate and perpetual regeneration unless a tuner is in place.
Do some homework as the tuners have different capabilities and may or may not be able to eliminate the EGT and DPF pressure sensors though most do.

Tyler, be very careful with the EGT probes in the DPF pipe. They break easy. Depending on what tuner you use, you may have to leave them plugged in to the harness where they are and just wire tie them to the frame to make the truck idle correctly.
My truck was idling at 950, and I was missing the back sensor. Plugged in a new one to the harness and the idle dropped back to 6-650 where it should be.
I run the DPF-R tune. I'm ok with it but do your homework. They don't give them away.

One consideration as you do testing with that model:
"EXHAUST NOTES: Exhaust sensors need to be connected to the truck wiring harness. Exhaust sensors do not need to go back into the pipe."
On my truck I could not remove the EGT sensors without destroying them due to heat and rust, they are about $80 a piece and you need three.
