Econoline Washer Fluid Hose Connector
Hi Ya'll...
My first post and Im hoping ya'll can help me.
Last year we had to have the windshield replaced on our 99 Ford Econoline van. In order to do so, apparently the guy had to disconnect the washer fluid hose to get the cowl out to replace windshield.
When he put everything back, the connector that connects the hosing to the wipers fell off and disinergrated. Van is 17 yrs old. He was going to replace it but didn't have any in his truck.
didn't think it was a big deal. But everytime I go in to a part place they look at me like Im an alien. My hubby took the van to the garage for its oil and filter change and explained it to them. their excuse was "dont have time to get into the issue." And that we would have to bring it back.
Seriously....is this a difficult thing? The pump works fine. You can hear it. It's just the connector.
Is there a specific name for the connector? So I can tell them at the parts store? Instead of them looking at me like Im an alien.

Vacuum tubing and connectors will do the trick. Nothing especial. Take the cowl and replace tubing and connectors
