Im 63 yrs young and this young fella w/a HEMI Ram is always knocking my new F350 6.7 down. I'd like to take him out on the highway and spank his ***, just not sure if I may get whipped by his Ram. Curious on feedback from any of you guys that have taken on any wannabees be it GM or Dodge. I have the 3:55's and she pulls strong, but I know that dodge can go also.

Take him on in a pulling contest. Load up 20k and see who's truck can pull it quicker/better. Speed you may lose. The diesel can lose to a 6.2l with 4.30's.

I bet bet if you switch it to
manuel shift mode and turned traction control off and stomped it you would spank him.

 

Should be close but you should have him TS Performance Makes a module where running now on a '17 6.7. Nice little power gain and it revs up and builds boost a lot quicker. Put it in 4WD and boost launch that thing and you'll smoke him

 

If he has the 5.7 Hemi with 8 speed and 3.92 rear end, he will beat you with ease.

 

Offer to buy him a beer and talk about guns, girls, and John Wayne movies. Otherwise, ignore him. At 63, I'd figure you wouldn't put up with that kind of nonsense anymore.

 

Which truck does he have? 1500, 2500, or 3500? Is it 4x4 or 2wd? 5.7 or 6.4 Hemi?

That will at least you check on 0-60specs.com or Google to get an idea who is quicker.

Maybe if you have a rc lb 4x4 xl i think most of the new dodge 1500!are in the high 5.9 low 6's 0-60.

I'm taking it he has a Cummins. I've had a few myself, that straight 6 has got a ton of room to modify, on my Dodge forums, we simply call this BOMBing (BETTER OFF MODIFIED BABY!)

I've staged up injectors, over sized turbos and upsized exhaust (t-back) for EGT. It's addictive and with the Cummins there is lots of room for BOMBing. On my last GM, I put over 7K of mods into the Dmax. If ANY truck was stock, they would be torched, and tail between there legs so to speak. Wifey says I'm done however with BOMBing on my new F350 DRW Platinum, and, im good with it too as I have other hobbies now to burn up my play money. Lol

So with this said, he may have additional ammo to bring to the gunfight. Be warned is much better than to be embarrassed.
