48-50 ashtray

I have never seen this - but is there a cover panel/piece for the ashtray unit for our trucks? I have looked and I am not sure if what I saw was correct. It looks like a molded / bended piece of metal which goes over the actual ashtray and then held on with the ****...... Mine did not have this piece of metal nor have I seen one whilst out hunting for parts over the last few years.

Correction on previous post .
Have one '48-'50 ash tray only .
One '51-'52 ash tray with cover & trim
One complete '51/'52 assembly . Ash tray , cover plate , trim & mounting housing . Both chrome trims need TLC .

I'm also missing mine. However, I don't really want an ash tray, but would like either a chrome cover (thinking about getting the chrome radio/speaker covers) and I was wondering if you knew of any type of after market cover or maybe something that looks somewhat original but serves another purpose maybe? I'm just thinking that an actual ash tray would be useless to me. Ideas?

Hey Mr. Ed. Is it just the cover or the assembly? I'd probably be fine either way, and could probably bolt in from the back. Is it in ok condition? Rust is fine, i'll sand and paint anyway as long as it's rusted through or dented. Can you post an image?
