I had those same running boards on my 1999. I loved them, and the way they were not hanging down with an air gap like all the later years do.

What a nice find, that truck is about brand new. As said, wax it. And towing mirrors would look great on it too. An exhaust tip would also look nice.

You can also replace various lights with LEDs, and do a bar in the bumper. Back up lights are another popular mod too.
