I've seen several "vibration" threads but, non seem to stick with "Engine" and go quickly to the drive train etc...
The other day the engine just started vibrate at exactly 1000 RPM, above or below nothing. If I'm driving or standing still it does it, getting up to speed it slightly does it again at 1900 RPM. It's like a harmonic vibration, not an engine shake like some have described in other posts. I'm convinced it's the engine because it does it in P or N. Coincidentally I was due to replace the water pump so, I stripped the front end of fan clutch, pulley and serpentine belt. I then started the truck got it to 1000 RPM's and the vibration's still there. I have NO idea what it could be, could it be in the torque converter??

Are you chipped or tuned? I ask because a fueling imbalance can cause a vibration.

 

Yeah I should have added that data. I'm as stock as you can get with the exception of new injectors and UVCH's which I replaced about 6 months ago. I looked anyway at the down pipes and can see nothing there. This vibration some sort of resonation not a vibration and it's so weird that it's at exactly 1000RPM. It quickly drops off 20 or RPM above or below. I can feel it slightly again at 1900.
I'll pull the fuel filter and clean the bowl today hell, even the air filter too just because.
