Ford doesn't make their dimming mirrors, they buy them from Gentex. This is the 453 model that has the Homelink buttons compatible with garage openers that use "rolling code" technology. I just installed one of these in my '99 F250 and the hardest part was finding the +12V and ground... which wasn't hard at all. Actually, I was probably more worried about removing the OEM mirror, but that came off easily as well.

This mirror works 100% and comes with the plug with 6+ inches of wire and the wiring cover to make things extra tidy.
