Interesting, ETIS now shows my build date as yesterday as well. Three hours ago, it still had the placeholder date. Perhaps it's a batch that runs the morning after. Or, given they work three shifts, it could just be timed to run after a shift ends.
No sure if there is any relation, but the date on the bottom of my window sticker changed today. It now has 2/7/2017 listed on the bottom. Previously the date at the very bottom (not the date on the line below Special Order) was 1/31/2017. Anyone else notice this change?
Good catch, David! I'm not sure I would have gone back to check that. Yes, my window sticker has updated today. It now shows today's date - 02/08/2017. That's one day later than ETIS, which shows yesterday's date. Now this has me wondering, does that date at the very bottom of the sticker just reflect the date you are "printing" it online, or does it reflect the actual date the truck was built. I will check it again tomorrow and see if it updates to the 9th or stays the same now.
Steve, you are no longer in the lead. ETIS just updated and now it's showing my truck was built yesterday. Guess my source's info was off. Either that or ETIS is getting premature on me... Window sticker still says 1-31-17.....

ETIS shows yesterday as my build date also. It's not clear why it shows the 7th and the window sticker shows the 8th, but if we're having a race, I'm going to stick with the ETIS date.

STOF-FORD My date still says 02/03/2017 after refreshing so I don't think this changes daily.
The really fun part is now going to be seeing who wins the delivery race if they were both built on the same day. I wonder if they'll recognize each other when they meet in Maine?

Got it and good point! We'll have to see if Rodney's window sticker updates later today or tomorrow. However, to your point, it sounds like that date becomes the "official" birthday.
Yes, I noticed that too. No additional data in ETIS other than the build date change. I'm guessing there are various steps to updating and populating additional data in ETIS that will continue over the next couple of days.
I just took a couple of VINs (from window stickers that my local dealer has on the lot) and plugged them into ETIS. I can confirm that there is NO date printed on the window sticker that reflects the build date listed on ETIS.
I believe that ETIS will be the truth data when it comes to build date.
