Heater switch control lights not working.

Heater switch control lights not working.
Last night my blower speed switch, temp ****, and panel selector **** all quit lighting up. They are all still operating just fine but no backlight. Is there a relay or fuse? Or is something else wrong?
UPDATE: I took the panel off and removed the 4 screws holding the controls in and it had two bulbs with black socket type things they are inserted in. Removed them bought 2 new bulbs size 194 reinstalled in the sockets and back in the housing, put everything back in and it's all working correctly. The bulbs are kind of hard to remove I just disconnected the plugs on the back to make it easier.

it was kind of unnecessary.
The factory schematic shows a single bulb. The factory service manual makes no mention so that usually means the process is obvious when you look at it. Didn't have time to poke into the parts listings.

It is a very simple matter to pop off the radio bezel and pull out the bulb holder(s) for the AC control panel. Check the bulbs.
Even if there is only one good bulb it will still light the whole panel but one part will be dimmer. I just replaced the bulbs there on my 2003 4X4, as I recall it took about a minute total including popping off the radio bezel and replacing it. There is more than one bulb but I don't recall how many if it is 2 or 3.

It's always necessary, there are too often variations with generations of the same model as the engineers incorporate changes or improvements. Never assume that the reader is going to understand by osmosis that which you do not state.
