I just got my truck back with the new (used) engine. I need to buy a lottery ticket. The guy showed me my old timing chain housing. Mine was cracked. He didn't know how I managed to get it there without blowing up my truck. All fixed, new motor runs really good. Only have a few issues to iron out that aren't related to the engine. The odometer is blacked out, i saw the fix for that here and will probably do that job this weekend. The heat doesn't work. Could be a blend door problem although mine was replaced once years ago. Also, the check engine light was still on when I picked up me engine. I disconnected the battery to reset it. If it comes on again i'll deal with that later.

Now I'm off to research why me heat isn't working.
