Looking to finalize wiring up radio using metra radio plug wiring harness adapter. According to my factory service manual wiring diagrams, the steering wheel contol signal goes through pin# 18 on the plug. Problem is the metra plug/harness doesnt have a pin/wire for this pin location. Im assuming Ill need to disassemble the plug and relocate one of the unused wires to that spot?

Anyone had this problem?

Also, where have people been accessing the backup lamps power to trigger on the reverse camera?

 

To close this out, i moved a wire in the adapter to pin #18 and worked perfectly!
