Lost all power, limp mode, no throttle

I was driving yesterday, everything was fine. Turned a corner and the truck felt like it just fell on its face. I lost throttle response, boost, the engine was still running but it wouldn't go past 1500 rpm. The throttle seemed to be stuck in the position I was stepping on it last. The truck drove only by idling in drive. Made it back to the shop, got the code P0653 and P0404. I know it is "sensor reference voltage b circuit high" and a code for the egr. I have gotten codes for the egr valve before. I changed the egr valve because I had one sitting around but didn't fix the problem. I have read a little that the p0653 code is PCM related but I couldn't find much info. Anyone ever get this code, or know a fix? Code won't go away. If the truck sits for a while, it will drive normal but then go back to limp mode.

Thanks but no help lol. I've tried unplugging PCM, changed oil temp sensor, made sure all sensors are clean, changed 3 Egt sensors, cleaned EBP sensor and tube, nothing changes. It will drive great when cold, when it heats up, randomly out of nowhere it fails, and says "cleaning exhaust filter", no throttle etc...looks like im screwed.

I'm still thinking EGR sensor but I can't find the damn link.

At the top of this page (Ithink) is a link to that.

Let me work on it.

I read it somewhere in a bulletin or on this page of 6.4 bible. I'm scouring.

Here's some info but I'm still trying to pull this up. Expressed exactly your symptom.

Thanks for helping. So as of today, it's running Ok. I tried everything I could think of until I read everything I could about the 5 volt ref to the sensors. I tested at the EBP sensor and the EGR sensor and had 5 volts, I figured I'd drive it to get it to act up and see if it had 5 volts when the problem occured....now I can't get it to duplicate the problem. I still want to figure out what happened , pretty wild.
