Find myself actually excited about this Bronco now more so than the new Superduty and reading some guys posts thought we could have an official what we want thread. I'll kick it off. As I mentioned in other thread I'd love a removable top or if sunroof is best they have then at least have the back window able to fully open as well.

I'll go again.... I'd like it to have 35" tires from factory so as to be able to go 37s with a mild aftermarket lift

I'm excited too. I just hope they don't do to it what they did to the explorer

Take it from a Jeep guy... no you don't.

I just want a manual transmission and transfer case in a 2 door...

1- removable top
2- two doors (4 door option would be OKAY, but 4 door only is called an Explorer)
3- locking differentials
4- lots of gearing
5- ability to run 35" tires, perhaps as a factory option
6- Ford Performance Parts winch bumper, lights, brush bar, roof rack, soft top, roll bar, skid plates, etc.

Troller T4 with the front grill and fascia changed to bring it more in line with Ford global marketing and design. Two wheelbases...one like below and another that has a system similar to the Toyota FJ Cruiser using suicide doors for access to the back passengers. Each model comes just like the F150 (and I assume the pending Ranger) going with standard package nomenclature such as XL,XLT, Lariat and Platinum with the FX4 option across the board for an upscale offroad package and an SVT offroad package to sit on top. Can't see them using the Raptor name as it may pull some of the shine off that model...mebbe Baja, Moab, Badlands...not sure but that is what Ford has marketing people for.

If we are dreaming...

Removable top with a hatch
Diesel option
Solid axles front and rear
E-lockers
2 door
Manual transmission (6spd?)

No Bronco has ever been 4 door other than conversions.

On a side note I stumbled onto this monster today on the interweb...if I ever win the lottery this will be my first purchase

It's simply named Rescue as that's it's intended purpose to be able to rescue up to 11 people I believe I read, from hard to reach and dangerous areas/situations. Some company named Ghe-o out of Romania if I'm recalling correctly makes it.

It needs to be flat towable, so it can be a motorhome toad.Integrated brakes that work off the tow vehicle.
Built in brackets for a tow bar.

Looks like an armored truck that lost its nose.

I hope they follow in the vein of the original Bronco, rather than the 78+ fullsize. IIRC, Ford originally planned the Bronco to go full size -and four doors- in 74, but that got canned with the gas crisis.

I'll be satisfied with the same drive train options that the Ranger gets. That'll make it rugged enough to handle more than what most people will throw at at it and it'll tow at least 5000 pounds with the base engine.

My only real want is exterior retro styling from the '73-'74 model. In my mind, that was the iconic Bronco.

In my mind, this is what I believe the Bronco will be. It'll probably have all of the powertrain options of the Ranger, but would maybe have different styling, probably going for gen 1 Bronco design treatment for the front end.
